PRIMARY YEARS
Building Strong Foundations
Primary school is where curiosity begins to develop into real knowledge, confidence and skill. At Towergate, our primary section, covering Basic 1 to 6, builds on the strong foundation established in the early years and guides pupils towards greater independence, responsibility and academic growth. Our classrooms provide a structured and supportive environment where dedicated teachers know every child by name, understand their individual strengths and monitor their progress closely.
Through a broad and engaging curriculum, pupils develop strong literacy, numeracy and enquiry skills while learning to think critically, communicate clearly and approach new challenges with confidence. They learn to read fluently, write effectively, reason with numbers and ask thoughtful questions about the world around them. Every school day combines focused learning with opportunities to explore, collaborate and develop good habits that support both academic success and personal growth.
What makes our primary experience special is the balance between academic rigour and attentive care. We give each child the guidance, structure and encouragement they need to build a strong foundation for secondary school and become confident, capable and curious learners.
