ADMISSION PROCESS

Admission into Towergate is simple but thorough. Pupils seeking admission into Pre-Primary, and Lower Basic are examined before admission is offered. Candidates seeking admission in Upper Basic and Senior Secondary School must take entrance examinations and will be interviewed.

Fresh students for Basic 7 (JSSI) must be at least 10years old or above before the last day of September of the year of admission.

They must have also completed Basic 6 (Primary 6) course. Admission forms are obtained with a non – refundable fee of N3,000 from the Office of the Registrar, Towergate Private Schools, 1 – 10 School Drive, Majiyagbe Layout, Ipaja. 

Admission forms must be carefully completed by parents or guardians and returned to the Registrar on time for processing. The entrance examination covers English Language, Mathematics and General Paper. Students seeking transfer from other schools may further be examined in three other subjects in addition to Mathematics and English Language.

Short listed candidates will undergo a written and oral interview towards the final admission and successful candidates are given provisional admission pending the payment of New Student Fees.

Newly admitted pupils/students are expected to pay all fees and obtain registration materials from the Registrar promptly in order to formalize their admission process.
